I was on my way to a workshop on Sunday & got a little lost when I popped into this boutique jewelry shop to get directions. The friendly owner pointed me on my way and it took me about 12 steps in the wrong direction to realize what I saw in that shop was so beautiful that I had to go back. Now, I’m a wedding photographer, so of course my eyes are always on upcoming trends for Brides and their pals. You know that already. But as a lover of all things vintage & earthy & bright, the jewelry selection I had glanced past caught my attention and I needed to see more.
So I went in to meet the owner (Melissa, she’s so friendly!) & I was introduced to the world of Fredrick Prince. This is not a jewelry designer new to the block; Fredrick Prince has an immense following and a series of gorgeous jewelry lines that have made waves in the Toronto fashion industry. But what is new, and perhaps a little serendipitous, is that the brand new Fredrick Prince flagship location on Dundas Street is about as new to town as we are. OH YEAH, THAT’S RIGHT, WE MOVED TO TORONTO.
More on that later.
Anyway, every piece of the jewelry line showcased in this shop is absolutely gorgeous and would make the perfect bridesmaid gift, engagement shoot statement piece, or finishing touch to an eclectic wedding gown (or elopement gown? You know you’ve considered it, you know I’ll photograph it.)
Check out the gorgeous work of Fredrick Prince and please stop by the flagship store on Dundas St in Toronto. You’ll love what you have to find there and I’m so glad I did.
